SYNOPSIS

Disgraced poet Ted Wallace is summoned to his friends Lord and Lady Loganʼs country manor, Swafford Hall, to investigate a series of unexplained miracle healings. Ted tracks down the perpetrator of the phenomena, fifteen year old David Logan, whose parents believe he has healing hands. Unaware that David is using some unorthodox methods, the Logans are set on sharing their sonʼs ʻgiftʼ with the world. With a poetʼs passion for the truth, Ted hurries to debunk the miracles and save a young man from a lifetime of embarrassment.


COMPANY

The Electric Shadow Company is a film production and finance company based in London, UK. The company’s first feature ‘The Fold’, directed by John Jencks and produced by Jay Taylor and Alexa Seligman, has won several awards and was released in UK cinemas in spring 2014. ESC has a number of features in development including adaptations of work by best-selling authors. Electric Shadow Fund launched in spring 2014, offering senior debt finance to projects in the $3-15m budget range. To date, these include Corin Hardy’s horror ‘The Hallow’; ‘The Trust’, with Nicolas Cage; China-NZ-UK co-pro ‘The Wonder 3D’; ‘The Blunderer’, adapted from the novel by Patricia Highsmith; and upcoming ‘Swallows and Amazons’, starring Rafe Spall and Kelly Macdonald.
